ALA CREATES HEART-CENTERED LEADERS
As students progress from self-discovery to breaking through old habits that no longer serve them, they begin making their new habits a lifestyle with repetition, camaraderie, and accountability in Level 3. For many entrepreneurs and leaders today, being a lone wolf is a common mentality.
We teach our students how to lead effectively, create something from nothing alongside a team of other leaders, and contribute to the team by utilizing their zones of genius. They are given many opportunities to connect with the people around them in ways that may feel new at first, but they soon realize it’s who they’ve always been. Creating authentic and vulnerable leadership in others is our commitment to the world, and our students have created incredible results in their personal and professional lives as a result of our curriculum.
One of the pillars of our curriculum is teaching the power of giving and being in contribution. We also teach them how to enroll others into their vision and how that is a win/win experience. It creates an opportunity for the people around them to consider their own vision for their life and the world.
What if you could inspire people around you to join you in creating the new vision you have for your company, your marriage, your non-profit, your immediate and extended family, your child’s school, or your place of worship? If you want to be successful in life, be deeply connected in your relationships. If you want to be abundant, be generous. If you want to change the world around you, be the example of what you see possible.
In Level 3, our students are also given the opportunity to practice these concepts and distinctions by creating a shared vision and supporting a local charity of their choice for their community service project. They have a limited amount of time to raise as much money as possible and also create remarkable and sustainable change for each organization. This puts everything they’ve learned to the test while it also enhances the community (the micro) and, therefore the world (the macro).
Since ALA opened its doors in 2016, more than 30 teams have passionately selected an organization to support through their collective efforts and shared commitment to make the most significant impact possible. The selected organizations are usually San Diego-based and they mostly serve populations in dire need including: children, veterans, homeless people, and groups of individuals with certain health or life challenges.
Each class has raised on average $100,000 for a specific organization of their choosing within just four weeks! To date, Ascension Leadership Academy has raised close to $3M for these powerful foundations making an incredible impact on thousands of lives. The ripple effect is monumental!
